Brett A. Baulsir

Brett is a principal in our Insurance Regulation  & Business practice group, where he acts as regulatory counsel for insurers, health maintenance organizations, and managed care organizations. He represents clients in commercial disputes and business transactions, including acquisitions, conversions, reorganizations, and reinsurance transactions. Brett also represents companies filing applications to obtain licensure as insurance companies or health maintenance organizations.

Before joining Funk & Bolton, Brett served as a Fellow with the Legal Resource Center for Public Health Policy. He completed internships with the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, and the Maryland General Assembly.
