Benjamin H. Groff

Ben Groff joined the Firm as a Principal in our Public Affairs Practice Group in 2023. He is an experienced attorney and public affairs professional. He works to find a way to victory for diverse client interests and brings a strong track record of delivering for clients in the public policy, transportation, and clean tech fields, among others.

Committed to doing work that matters and taking on issues and clients that will be truly transformational for the community at large, Ben has comprehensive expertise and real-world skills leading political and issue campaigns. He has worked to build and nurture stakeholder engagement, and has nuanced understanding of, and expertise with, policy development and strategic communications. Within our team, he has a special focus on media production. His relationship-based, practical approach to communicating on an issue and finding tailored solutions has led to meaningful success for our clients.

Ben earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Paul Smith’s College. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.
